Tom Philip presents: Embarrassing Secrets

A while ago I had a conversation with a few coworkers about the most physically impressive thing I’ve ever done. I was tempted to answer “breaking a pencil with one hand” (story for another day) Then I realised I had climbed this bad boy twice in my life.

While finding a picture of this mountain (named Goatfell, located on the Scottish Isle of Arran)I found a few other pictures of Arran, a place I frequented for holidays as a child and returned to in the summer of 2007. I’ve been in New York for the best of 3 months, seperated from any pre-established friends and my own family. Despite this, I feel more homesick remembering Arran than I do remembering any places people I know actually LIVE.

Arran is a very special place to me. There’s no end or point to this story, but I feel much better raising even the slightest amount of awareness a place this amazing exists. If any of my newfound American friends ever feel like coming to visit me, we’re going to Arran, OK?

I feel google wave will always be used the same as any regular IM client. No matter what Google do.
